There is one of Chinese charity in Yangshuo - the organization of Volunteer English Teacher (VET), founded and by Owen Buckland & Canadian Laurie Mackenzie in 2004. The purpose of its is to tackle the problem of lack of English education for the poor in the Yangshuo Guilin. Nowadays, it has grown fast.
