Transport to Yangshuo Hidden Dragon Villa

Yangshuo is famous for its mountains and waters, one really peaceful fairland in Guilin China, hasn't been disturbed too much yet. Therefore, the ways to this fairland are limited. There are several options for you to get here.

By Air
There is no airport in Yangshuo, the closest Airport to Yangshuo is Guilin Airport which is very well connected to many cities in the world. If you come to Yangshuo by air, we can arrange the transportation to pick you up from the airport if you like, Guilin Airport to Yangshuo Hidden Dragon Villa is ONLY one hour through highway which has the fantastic views all the way. Usually speaking, you'd better book tickets 3 days in advance.
Tips: Even though there is bus from Guilin Airport to Guilin Downtown, we still recommend you take the transportation from Guilin Airport to our Yangshuo hotel directly, faster & easier by taxi or van.

By Train
There is no train to Yangshuo directly, because the train station in Yangshuo is being built. Anyway, there are many trains from different places to Guilin Train Station. Whenever you call us, we can arrange the transportation from/to Guilin area when you are at train station or any hotel in Guilin. We have the very professional drivers with a stable personality and high sense of responsibility.


By Bus
Guilin to Yangshuo
Guilin's bus station is a 10 min walk from Guilin's train station, situated on Zhongshan Nanlu. Express buses depart from Guilin central bus station every 20 min from 7 am to 8 pm. Tickets can be bought at the ticket office at the entrance hall of the bus station or inside the bus station at a smaller ticket office on the left or right hand side (depending on the time of day) of the waiting hall that is on the right as you walk towards the buses. The price (at time of writing) for the express bus ticket is 15 RMB or 17 RMB including luggage insurance. The bus journey takes 1.5 hours to Yangshuo. After 8 pm there are local buses departing in front of the train station for 14 RMB. Note: If you arrive by train in Guilin and walk through the car park at the front of the train station you will often be approached by local bus conductors. They will often shout “to Yangshuo!” These are local buses which means they drive slowly and stop continuously all the way to Yangshuo. They are also normally not as comfortable as the express buses and will often try to charge foreigners slightly more. The going rate at time of writing is 15 RMB which is the same as an express bus anyway.
Yangshuo to Guilin
The central bus station in Yangshuo is situated on Pantao Road.There are two kinds of public buses that you can take from Guilin. One is the Express Bus which leaves from the main bus station in Guilin and is non-stop and non-smoking, departs every 20 min. You can buy the ticket (RMB ¥15) at the office in the bus station. This bus takes about 75 minutes.The other one is the Local Bus which departs from the main train station in Guilin and stops many times along the way to Yangshuo to drop off and pick up local passengers. These buses will drop you off at the petrol station a 10 minute walk from the Yangshuo bus station on the same road (Pantao Lu). This bus costs RMB ¥14 and has to be paid on the bus, but as a tourist, they will often ask for more. If you are planning to continue your trip by bus to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanning etc. you can book your ticket through local travel agents . Most of the buses depart in Yangshuo directly and are sleeper buses. A greater choice of bus types and times depart from Guilin, but you can also book the tickets through a Yangshuo local agent or in Yangshuo Hidden Dragon Villa.

By Boat
If you do Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo, you will get on from Guilin Zhujiang Pier and then get off at the one of the two piers in Yangshou. The foreign cruises dock is next to West Street in Yangshuo, the Chinese cruises dock about 1 km upstream from West Street. Usually, we can arrange one taxi or van to pick you up from the pier, this is the most convenient way to get to hotel. You can give us your boat details in advance, or you can make a call to us in 30 minutes before you get off the boat and let us know the details. Then we will arrange a taxi (RMB ¥30) or minivan (RMB ¥40) to pick you up. Our driver will be waiting at the dock and holding a sign with your name (please note that the taxi cannot park in front of the pier and that you have to walk a bit). Another way, you can walk to our sister restaurant RYLEYS CAFÉ on west, the boss is Mic, he can help you arrange transfer to our hotel. The third way is follow the crowds to West Street, walk down West Street and ask around for the Yangshuo bus station, where you can get a taxi to Yangshuo Hidden Dragon Villa, or you can get a public min-van from Yangshuo （阳朔）to Gaotian （高田）, it will cost you 3 RMB/one, you have to get off at the Gong Nong Bridge which is over the Yulong River, easy to see it. Then, you can see a T-junction on the left of the Road, turn left 300 metres, you can find out Yangshuo Hidden Dragon Villa.

Transport Service Centre （运输服务中心）
Yangshuo Hidden Dragon Villa has the transport service centre and private car, which can arrange a transfer to pick you up from the Guilin airport or somewhere else in Guilin area and drop you off there according to your request. A private car/taxi can hold 3 adults comfortably or 2 adults and 2 children if you are not carrying too much luggages. The 14 seater bus can hold 7 adults comfortably and your luggages. It will take you about 70 minutes to get to Yangshuo through the beautiful super highway.
