Lotus Cave

Location: located three kilometers (1.9 miles) northeast of Xingping Town in Yangshuo. Features: There are 108 small caves inside. Cave lotuses is over 600 meters (656 yards) long, 38 meters (125 feet) high at its highest and 25 meters (27 yards) across at its widest. It is bottle-like, with the mouth of the cave as its narrowest part. At the entrance, a cluster of stalactites hanging upside down in the shape of lotus petals is rather conspicuous. 100 meters from the entrance, two slots in the cave wall zigzag into the innermost depths of the cave and resemble two flying dragons, and are called the 'Two Dragons Creeping out the Cave'. A slice of stalactite which can make melodious sounds when knocked is beautifully named the 'Stone of Heptachord'.
